About the blog

Inspired by Brene Brown's story of her daughter's "marble jar friends", The Marble Jar is a space where I can stretch my vulnerability muscles.  I hope to be able to document both my strengths and areas of growth as I work towards adding marbles to my professional learning jar.  A former Middle Years, Resource and Human Ecology teacher, I am currently a Literacy Coach and RTI Support Teacher living and working in the Manitoba, Canada.  This blog was originally created in response to a graduate course I was enrolled in, however, I've got big plans for this little blog of mine!  You can find out more about the author here.
